I was recently going to purchase a tablet of some sort, whether it be the iPad, Android, or the Kindle Fire/Nook Tablet to read PDFs. However after watching this video of a Sony Reader Wi-Fi PRS-T1 handle PDFs I am not sure anymore.

I do prefer a e-ink screen and prefer the low weight of ebooks. The fact that it can crop pages, as law review articles have large margins, and re-flow is amazing. Auto-crop and two or three column auto cropping is very very very nice. I do not care much to be able to write notes but I guess it won't be a negative. I am not sure which to get now. I am not sure about the speed of turning pages and refresh rates if and when I have to zoom in and out. However, that video makes it seem like its not bad at all.

That is a link to a law review article. The article itself starts from page 4 where you can see the large margins. Anyone that could test this out with crop mode using the Sony Reader would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
