Canadian gallons are not the same as USA gallons why should grams be the same?
Maybe the box weight is right? Did you check the weight for each on the same scale?
Maybe the higher weight includes the cable and the lower weight doesn't include the cable.
Maybe borders Kobo has longer lasting battery. Does it really matter?
My KT from Borders in US weight is 185g and 205g including cable. Scale made in China without certified calibration.
