The truly amazing part is that I had *no idea* until a few days ago that many (most?) touchscreen e-readers allow you to swipe, even if they have a tap function. So all that time spent trying to contort my thumb in weird ways to tap to next page if holding in my left hand in Stanza was completely unnecessary.

Now, knowing that I can swipe to next page from the left is a huge advantage. I think that is how the Kindle Touch works too? You can tap to turn pages on the right but you can also swipe from the left in the proper direction and turn next page from the left side.

So with the new PRS+ I am now using "Tap anywhere to turn next page" and I just swipe to go to the previous page as necessary on either side of my PRS-950. It's lovely. I didn't mind the swiping either and may go back to it if I find that tapping is annoying in some way (like accidental page turns) but it's nice to have the option, and my misgivings about tap to turn devices are now gone.

It's good to be able to turn pages using my left hand (swipe on Stanza, likely Kindle Touch) without those weird contortions.

I guess this means I was being pretty dense, but it just never occurred to me. I thought tapping was the only option I had on all those tapping ebook readers!
