Absolutely. Also, note that the headline is based on what some random person (Michael Hart, from London) said. On the other hand, a leading expert on electronic ink said "I don’t think the radiation used in an airport scanner would ever be strong enough to damage an electronic ink display,”
Naturally, the Telegraph went with the opinion of some random Kindle user in preference to the opinion of a leading expert on e-ink.
