Well, yes I can blame the firmware for that. I have reformatted it -- several times. I don't really have a choice. Every time this happens I am forced to reformat the card in order to reload the book I am reaeding. Sometimes it just corrupts one file. Other times it hits the entire card. And I didn't have these problems before I loaded the new firmware.
Now, I have 400+ books on this card. I will be reading along just fine, go to turn a page and the system freezes. At this point the entire file I am reading becomes corrupt. Sometimes all of the other files on the system will be fine, its just the one I was reading. And, for the one corrupt file I am unable to access anything -- not even the part I've already read.
As a test, I do plan on trying a different SD card next time it gives out. However, I will be surprised if that is the problem. The start of this is too coincidental with the firmware upgrade. If it is really a bad area on the SD card its funny that that area keeps moving to whichever book I am currently reading.
