Well, unless Overdrive and Penguin get back to an agreement, the John Sandford novel due out in 2012 won't be available via Overdrive.
As in the article, I do think that Penguin owes money to a lot of libraries that bought extra copies due to Kindle borrowing. It's unfair that they bought these copies now to no longer have them when they could have bought other eBooks instead.
