Not sure how you can loose stuff with Always Pro; I have mine set to only propogate changes from the source directories to the destination, so if (per chance) changes were made in the destination area, they would NOT be replicated back to the source.

You can even set it up so that deletions in the source area do NOT get copied to the destination.
