The Amazon app works well on the Vox. All of the kindle books I purchased were magically there in the archive once I installed it. Amazon's file formats only work on Kindle devices and apps. Some people remove the DRM from the kindle files, convert them to ePUB using Calibre, and then read them in the kobo app, or Aldiko, or any other ePUB capable reader.
