Every time I go to France I stock up on French products. In the UK the face-creams say, "reduces the appearance of fine lines". --An ambiguous statement. But in France they boldly say, "contre les rides". Irresistible.
I now have a cupboard full of French face-cream, plus any amount of French soaps, paint-brushes and a pretty blue plaque saying '12' on my door. I've still got the beginning of les rides, though...

yes well just watch out who you tell about your cream. that's a dagerous word to bandy about lightly here, i've discovered. but it's true, my creams make many bold statements. sadly, according to a girlfriend of mine, they are all lies. i've got the beginning of les rides as well, despite my twice-daily application, so she's probably right...
