Das wäre in der Tat nützlich... unsere Suchmaschine baut derzeit auf die eingebaute Mysql-Fulltext-Engine auf. Mehr dazu hier:

Da Fulltext auf Indizes aufbaut, bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob in diesem Zusammenhang Regex überhaupt möglich ist (weiss jemand mehr?). Normalerweise wird bei Mysql mit Regex jede Textzeile einzel durchgegangen (also ohne Index), was sich nicht wirklich gut skaliert.
