Hi, while there's a lot of new ebook devices coming out on the market, I still use my old Ebookwise because I can't find a proper substitute.
What I like most of it is the background light (Kindle + read light is not a good option) and the fact I can only read book with it (when I take my iPad in bed I start to surf the web or write email instead of relax and simply read some good lecture).
The only withdraw is to convert other format to the proprietary ".imp" of the Ebookwise. While Calibre is an excellent program, it doesn't have any option to do that.
I know there has been some other thread about, but no solution.
I would personally offer 100$ to pay a developer to build a patch for the Calibre to convert natively to .imp.
If there's some more Ebookwise fanatic out there who can contribute, we may could convince somebody to help us.
