Make no mistake, they are or will use your personal info for whatever purpose suits them.
How people can trust their info on cloud-like networks where the administrators and owners of such cloud can snoop all they want, is beyond me.
If one day some company offers to keep a copy of their customer's home keys which could be helpful in case you lose your keys, no more need to break your door or call a locksmith, would you let your home keys with such people ? I guess a lot of people would but that would be a mistake.
