From previous threads, the publisher's mindset is likely that once they decide to correct the pure [innocently-adulterated] OCR output, they're committed to a full re-edit of the entire work, and such an undertaking probably wouldn't be cost effective.
So I guess the
honest solution is to buy the crappy OCR version and pirate the cleaned-up torrent version!
