BTW, I acquired a Blackberry Playbook at a very attractive price recently. I've been distracted getting up to speed with Android and the Kobo Vox. Coming back to the Playbook, I am really impressed about how solidly it is built, how responsive it is and, for those of us with a Blackberry, the corporate email client and calendar -- synced with office desktop and Blackberry phone, but completely secure on the Playbook once the "bridge" is closed -- is an excellent tool.
Playbook, esp. at these new prices, is an impressive beast -- for what it does. The next iteration of the OS, vers 2, is in beta testing currently and is expected in Feb. RIM is almost certainly going to stay the course on this and continue to develop it into a pillar of their product line.
