Question Cleaning the Back of the Kindle Fire(?)

After just two days of Fire ownership, I'm noticing a lot of smearing on the back surface. I don't see any cleaning information in the User's Guide or on the product page, so thought I'd see if anyone here has any suggestions for, or experience with, cleaning this type of material, particularly with water or other liquids. Rubbing it with a dry T-shirt helped some, but not completely. Thanks.
