So tomorrow is World Toilet Day. No joke, as their web site says 2.6 billion people around the world suffer the ill effects of inadequate sanitation resources.

So I recall in the past reading that Native Americans out on the plains used buffalo chips for fires, and the first white settlers also did this. It is also a shame that gray water is not put to more use than just sending it directly down the sewer along with toilet waste. Anyway some interesting information and ideas covered in that NPR broadcast.
