So, I did a Factory reset to wipe it clean BUT, the Collections stayed. This all seems to be a firmware Amazon Cloud Whispersync kind of problem and probably not a Kindle Touch hardware problem but let's just say right now I'm really missing the Calibre Kindle Collection plug-in which does not work with the Kindle Touch. I have way too many books and I've spent hours on getting my Collections just as I want. The thought of having to do it again makes me kind of pissy.

This is what I am facing now. I tried calling CS to see if they could explain to me how to get rid of all the "old" collections, they were no help. I eventually wiped my k2 cleaned, reset it back to factory reset, restarted it and then completed a sync. This wiped out all the collections associated with my k2. Then I was able to upload my current collections and they were recognized correctly. Though I was missing some, so I had to fine tune it some more. Now I am in the process of trying to import those collections into the Touch. It seems as if Amazon's servers are on some kind of delay but I have not figured out how long to wait between when I upload the collections for one reader in order to import them onto another. Needless to say I have not been able to read on either device because all this syncing is draining the battery so they have both been plugged up for two days while they are doing their thing.
