hard to tell what damage could have been done. If something gave out immediately the rest might be okay or if not multiple stuff could have fried.
Some things to try. I would leave it set overnight and try it, may have some sort of protection circuit though I doubt it.
1. if brave enough to open it up unhook the battery and try the proper charge voltage.
2. Look for blackened areas near the power plugs connection to the board. That sort of jolt could well have smoked something.
3. Look for a fuse though in this small circuitry fuses are kind of hard to recognize.
