I couldn't vote because none of the options applied to me. I don't think it's the next generation of eReader - I still do most of my reading on my Kobo Touch - but I did run right out and buy one.
Like another poster mentioned, I don't have a smart phone (don't need one since I work from home) so I mainly use the Vox for the extras. (I also read Kindle freebies on it.)
