I finally got it downloaded. I had to de-register all my tablets. I then went online with my Thrive. When I tried to download it Amazon said I already had the app. I checked - I did not have it. Re-booted, tried again and down it came.
I hate stuff that fails and then mysteriously un-fails (or should that be "de-fails") for no apparent reason.
