Lightbulb Try changing Wifi Router/AP channels

I think right after I returned my 2nd Craig due to the flaky wifi connection issue that I found some advice to try changing your wifi router to use a different channel among the 13 (or 15?) that they can use, to avoid conflicts with other routers/AP's in your neighborhood.

It helps greatly to run some wifi scanning software that shows other nearby networks, and which includes the channel info that the router/access point is broadcasting on. Wifi Analyzer is a nice Android app for that if you have another, working, Android device with wifi and market access (or sideload the APK from some other source).

If you are lucky, you can find an unused channel that you can set your router/AP to use (you need to know how to change your unit's wifi settings). If not so lucky, and there is contention for all channels (situation in apartment buildings I guess), then pick one that has fewest/weakest signals to see if that helps.
