Yeah, I was surprised - normally they don't leave electronics without a signature. That's why I normally have them sent to work, plus work is more secure (i.e., somebody has to be there to receive it). Unfortunately, I'm laid up post-surgery right now, so work delivery wasn't an option. But, fortunately, I live in a really safe neighborhood, with a lot of retirees and shift workers, so there's usually a lot of "watchful eyes."

One thing was curious, though. I'd thought I'd seen review videos where the packaging had a picture of the Fire on it(?). Mine says "KindleFire" on it, but no picture, though. Maybe Amazon realized that the picture would help it become a theft magnet, and switched gears...Anyway, good luck on an early "blessed arrival."
