Is it just me, or is iLiad (well, iPDF and MobiPocket, actually) completely incapable of dithering images?
I mean, come on, even Sony dithered them and did a pretty good job of it. A good dithering algorithm combined with iLiad's 16 shades of gray and resolution would make photos and illustrations look beautiful (esp. in newspaper and magazines)! The way things are at the moment, they look just... well... ok
