The main reason why even the lowest-difficulty ones are difficult is that, unlike sudokus in the newspaper or books (I've got 4 and a half sudoku books to get through before I buy more, which will be in maybe February :P - yay, dollar stores! ), and most sudoku computer programs, the puzzles generated on the Touch randomize which numbers are shown right off the bat rather than using a mirrored pattern.
