I very much empathize. Sadly, I think that I'm not far behind you in chucking the works and getting something else. Question is after only having it for 5 months (my kobo touch), will Chapters/Indigo reimburse me for it? It isn't working! and there doesn't seem to be a person in sight able to answer my questions adequately or even remotely try to help me. It's quite frustrating.
