Ok, that makes sense. You mean - just stick with the old software (Reader Library) rather than the new one (Reader for PC). Mostly, I agree. The new software has some features that would be nice even for PRS users, if only they worked reliably.

For example, my PRS950 syncs pages (and annotations ?) via wifi with the Reader for PC.

So, if you use the new software, you might as well update it...

But I agree, sticking with the old is safer, for the moment.

I personally have decided to double my level of frustration by having both installed.

I just wish Calibre supported annotations... then I'd be a happy camper and ditch this craptastic software...
