Yes, I've already taken care of it and gotten a $10 credit for it. It's going back and a new one is being shipped out for delivery tomorrow.
That doesn't make me any happier on top of having to fill someone in, literally at the same time, on a situation that has them upset before I said a word. And on top of THAT, my head is starting to hurt.

For some reason, the new one isn't showing on Manage My Kindle yet even though the order shows up in my orders page (though it says No Image Available; weird; the original order had a photo of the Kindle). I seem to recall that the only other time I've had to exchange a Kindle, it showed up in Manage immediately. So I can't start pre-loading my collection on the replacement. Argh. |
Hope the new one works okay! It happens sometimes. My first K4 was defective not like that but had a grey mist all over the screen that made it look like a Vizplex instead of Pearl screen.
