I've just seen a face,
I can't forget the time or place
That we'd just met, she's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Na na na na na na

Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way
But I had never been aware
And as it is I dream of her tonight
Na na na na na na

Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling me back again

Good morning, everyone! Another beautiful day today, so another chance to find some pretty leaves... But first, unbranded Keemun tea, a bowl or rice and miso soup to get me going.

No black flies, midges, no-seeums, etc., lots of activity in the woods as all the little critters get ready for winter, and really really nice around the fire!

Go to your local PriceChopper and look for 'Bigelow's English Breakfast Tea.' It's actually a very nice drink, you don't need to order anything, and it's cheap.

I love their "The Little Drummer Boy." Hey, I think I saw 'Amal and the Night Visitors' sections on youtube... brb. Yes, it was there in six parts. Is that the one?
That's the one! I remember a different production of it, but it's the same opera. Normally I don't care for opera, but there is just something nice about this one!

You've been missed!

Funny how Christmas and New Years are celebrated so differently in different areas. In the the west, Christmas is a time for family gathering and New Years a time for parties. In Japan, Christmas is the time when all young couples go to Love Hotels, (upscale 'hot pillow' places) but will spend New Years with family visiting Shinto shrines. (Buddhism loses out to Shinto on New Years Day.)

And now, one more cup of tea, then off for some more photos. Yesterday didn't give me anything really great...

And...

Gotta do better than this... I guess I wasn't really paying attention to what I was seeing. Or maybe I was just seeing too much!
