Interestingly, in this past two weeks and for the first time, we’ve had several women talk to us about the sex scenes in our novel, Endangered. First, an older woman who lost her husband early in their marriage told us that we had really captured all the feelings of a woman experiencing great loss. Then, members of a book club practically booed another member who thought our sex-on-the-beach scene was gratuitous.
