You also forgot needing to sell your soul to Apple in the iPod Touch case. Then again, you've already done that with the iPad. Definitely go for the Galaxy Player. That way you can have sold little bits and pieces of your soul to most of the major players. It's good to hedge your bets with respect to technology. I'm going to suggest you get a Sony e-Reader as well so you can complete your hedging options.
