Although, if we were to follow your advice, we would have to grow everything ourselves in the back garden or pay an arm and a leg for an organic food (of a questionable sources too).
I buy in Lidl all the time Not everything. Some things in Lidl, some in Tesco's some in M&S. Although, all of my food come from supermarket chains.
One got to be choosy. Check the ingredients, compare with other available products in other shops.

I know. I am lazy.
