The difference between comics and the written word is the manner in which the brain processes an image and a word. That said,I suspect that comics are more likely to be serialized, however as ereaders and tablets saturate the populace, there is a greater chance of interesting enough people in a serial story to make it economically viable, especially if the story is accompanied by ads. BTW, can anyone give me one word that categorizes both ereaders and tablets?
