For short stories, it usually is, actually. Because even a little change can be well, a big change. And people are buying the book because they like the author, not the editor.

And bear in mind the Nightshade stuff did correct spelling and such.

And what's also nice is all the notes on the stories and such (though I'm not sure how well these work in ebook fromat).

Personally, I have all the CAS Nightshade stuff in hardback and it was worth every penny. $25 is a steal for all the ebooks.

Granted, only about half the stories are good (his SF stuff was awful) but they are really good. When he was at his best, he was as good as anyone.
