If you're interested in PDFs and only PDFs, then the answer is simple... don't buy a 6" Kindle; buy something else—probably a tablet of some sort.
Yes, PDFs can be created or manipulated to be optimized for a 6" screen, but finding PDFs that are already optimized is nearly impossible and manipulating them yourself to get them optimized can be a pain in the ass (depending on your skillset). And even if you're willing to overlook all that... the Kindle still won't reflow PDFs.
If PDF is your bag, then walk right past all the 6" Kindle devices. Don't even glance at them. You'll only be disappointed.
