@ Orlok: about my objection, my language includes a ton of Chinese words already. More than healthily enough. Vietnamese sounds 70-80% the same as Chinese!
(really, we just use the modified alphabet, which makes writing much more easier, and that's one of the few differences between the two languages). That sometimes makes me feel like we're not ourselves
So I have no desire to know Chinese, although I know it'd be one of the most important things to learn for XXI century. As for Stitchawl... he might be amused by the way the folks "draw" - not write - the letters, the looks of the words, the delicacy of how it's written... that's easy to understand.
