A Challenge

"Charp", as many here are no doubt already aware, is the one small mutant green potato chip in a bag of chips.

I suggest that we mozzle nouns for the following potato-related food items:

1. The longest french fry in the bunch
2. The short, crisp, sharp, stubby fries that look like jailhouse shanks
3. The fries that escape the cartons and mingle in greasy limbo, the no-man's land of the bag

Winning entries will be decided by the [U.S.] committee meeting in conclave. You know who you are.

P.S. I'm just wondering if 'shank' is an English-only word. Do other languages have a word specifically for stabbing weapons fashioned by inmates out of everyday materials?
