Lol, first dissenting opinion on this thread so far. I was originally thinking the same thing but on introspection, she's a lot more careful with her things than I am so the "delicate" argument didn't really have much merit.

As for being expensive, it only costs $20 more than the Nintendo DS Lite I gave her 3 years ago. That's the last nice gift I gave her so she was due for another spoiling. I was thinking of getting her the new DS but then, I was browsing the app store and saw all these educational kids apps so I got to thinking an iPod Touch might make a better gift. It would certainly be more versatile.
