Thing is, I'm not "bashing" anything, I think the Fire is a great device, but it IS true that to get the full Fire experience you NEED Prime, which does cost more. If you don't have it and you buy it, that adds another $79 dollars into the total. Not sure why pointing that out is frowned upon. Saying anything bad about anything Kindle related here is like saying you prefer Microsoft to Apple in a Starbucks.
