A minor point is that the iLiad, like other 1st gen devices, does suffer somewhat from ghosting, which the VizPlex screens are relatively immune to. This appears to be something which happens at the individual machine level - some have it to a much greater extent than others.
I agree with the viewpoint that the iLiad has a much better display than the other 1st-gen screen devices. VizPlex screens have a rather lighter-coloured background, however, which does improve the contrast.
