Amazon shrewdly designed the Fire to be a cloud and streaming device, with the ability to hold a small amount of content. I think some people will quickly tire from constantly loading and unloading videos.

For those who plan to only stream video content, the Fire is an excellent choice and well spec'd for their needs.
