here are the points that i noticed when harry described himself in the novels:
dark hair
dark eyes set deep
severe brows
hawkish nose
sharp chin
long face
high cheekbones
straight slash mouth
angular jaw
over six and a half feet tall
lean, thin physique
and is probably why jeff goldblum sprang into my mind when imagining harry's appearance. so as much as i like nathan fillion as an actor (i'm a firefly fan as well as a castle fan, not to mention buffy) he's too handsome, and not tall and thin and dark enough for me to picture him as harry
