Thanks so much Steve. I'm working on Volume Three and it continually amazes me how much is in these books. I'm neither a huge American history buff nor a big book reader so I don't have much to compare them to. I'm more into ancient Egypt, Rome and biblical history and my book reading tends to be more action/thriller/horror.
I do like his style of just getting to the point and moving on without dwelling on too much for too long. I find them to be easy to read.
Volume One was more to my interests so I'm really curious to see what colonial history enthusiasts think of Volume Two.
