Hmm, I'm in the both camp. I like eInk, it does seem easier on the eyes, but I've found a good LCD screen with brightness and color adjustments counters the backlight strain (and I like the seamless page turns!). However, I do tend to stay up longer reading with the backlight than the eInk. I may need to train myself to put the Flyer down and go to bed at a certain time. I did that last night, and I did fall asleep fairly quickly (for me) even though I didn't feel that eye pull while reading.

I think the quality of the eInk screen makes a difference, as with the LCD, and so does the lighting. I don't really like eInk at home under our house lighting, because the homeowner hates having lights on - even if I'm reading - and substitutes them for tiny lamps. I'm going to start calling him a vampire (with sparkles, that'll teach him) because calling him Scrooge had no effect.
