I know catsup is a pretty widely used term, but growing up, it was always ketchup for me. The whole answer to the question is why I termed ketchup the more proper word for this case.
While not a vegetable is definitely a pleasure. I love it. For me, many things are really just means to having ketchup: hotdogs, french fries, hamburgers...
