One thing to consider with the kindle touch is the lack of physical buttons. As much as I enjoy using the touch screen on my iPad, I prefer not having to move my fingers/thumb when reading, the buttons on the side allow for that.

Lack of an audio player is going to be a personal preference. I had one on the hanlin, never used it, don't have one on the kindle 4 and doubt I'll miss it either. I use my mp3 player or iphone for music/audio books. Others prefer having it all in one.

I've not used the nook, so can't weigh in on kindle vs nook beyond saying that had the kindle touch had physical buttons in addition to the touch screen, I'd have waited and bought one. I really like the ease of getting books onto the kindle via amazon purchases or free email to my kindle from other sites.
