Sorry to hear the code still wouldn't work for you. About the only thing I can really think of that I might have done differently (I'd hand-typed the code just like Catlady tried) is that I entered it into the Redeem Code box long before I decided on a book to buy.
Maybe Sony limits the window of time in which you can put the code into your account, but then you can use it readily after that until the posted expiry date.
The other thing is that Sony apparently likes to expire their codes a bit early and that valid until the 8th really means "will work up until the minute before the 8th starts, Eastern Time, and then you're
doomed", not "valid throughout the day of the 8th". I was caught out by this on another offer and managed to get it put into my account by contacting Customer Service, since it was a promo with purchase deal.
Anyway, hopefully they'll have another one soon and people will have better luck with it.
