Well a local poll here in MR has 55% of us rooting. I'm inclined to think that is much higher than the populous simply because the folks in MR tend to be the hacking type.

That said I would still hazard a guess that the nook color is probably the most "rooted/romed" Android device simply for two reasons. The ease and detailed instructions on how to root and the horrible horrible Nook custom skin.

Also I don't know if you recall a while back when the rumor that a B&N update would prevent the ability to hack the nook was flying about. Shortly after that rumor started circulating the nook stock on the shelf sold out.
