Absolutely.
Companies are bought and sold now solely for their patents, which may number in the thousands, and attorneys then go fishing for infringement wherever they can. Lawsuits are initiated, NOT to serve justice but simply as a revenue stream, taking advantage of an overly complicated and easily manipulated patent system.
The little guy doesn't have a chance.
