I thought about it some more after I posted and I think it had to do with the way the thread was mostly celebratory (birthday cake, yum
) and
JonB just came out of the blue and hit on the Kindle store; for me, it was jarring.
I don't know much about TS except for what I've seen portrayed in movies (which I watch very little of) so I hope I didn't offend you.
(his use of the word "crappy" didn't really register; I use the words "crap"/"crappy" all the time to refer to stuff I consider garbage/nonsense and I usually have to remind myself afterwards that it's considered a cuss word by some
)
Btw, your experience with the Kindle closely mirrors mine, though I'm almost a year and a half into Kindle usage now
