I moved home every 12 to 18 months all through my childhood (I attended 14 different schools in the process), and we moved not just town, or country, but continent , so I am pretty inured to the process. As astra says, it is the selling and purchasing of homes that is the really stressful part, and as a kid I was mostly oblivious to that part.
